From 1st March, we will become the sole office in Australia for Mac-nels Container Line , i.e. now to include their significant Southbound traffic added to our existing Northbound trades.
Mac-nels was started in 1975, have their Group Global HQ in Singapore and are recognised as the first Consolidator in Asia.
This means we will, for the first time in 5 years, be re-entering the import Consolidation trade, initially from 6 consol ports in S E Asia and the Far East to all 5 ports in Australia.
With the Mac-nels Groups aggressive Global Expansion activities and plans, we will, as the new joint venture office in Australia, be handling a further 5 import trades in the near future; some of these will surely turn some heads when announced.
As of the 1st of March 2019, we wish to announce that we have purchased the Wholesale Seafreight Consolidation Division of the leading Consolidator in Western Australia; XLI Global Air and Ocean.
This arrangement also includes their Adelaide Seafreight Consolidation business.
XLI have been a MAJOR player in the WA market for 13 years and 4 years ago duplicated its signature one stop Consolidation, Warehouse/CFS and Airfreight operation in South Australia.
The Existing Staff you may have dealt with at XLI will now be part of the EIFC team.
